Pressure transducers are used for "feed back" information and to ensure automatic speed control on all TPE(D)/TPE2(D)/TPE3(D) models. TPE(D) 2000 AND TPE3(D) models have factory fitted differential pressure transducers. For closed loop heating and chilled water systems, "differential pressure transducers" are more commonly used to attain the most accurate "feed back".
Where the pump developed pressure is equal to or greater than the "system pressure" then single point pressure transmitters can be successfully used.
The pressure at the pump suction should remain stable during all flow conditions in the system. Suggested transducer sizes are referenced against each TPE/TPED model. When selecting a differential pressure transducer, please use the suggested size.
